Empowered Transitions Counseling provides online mental health counseling and related services. Our services are for informational and therapeutic purposes only and do not constitute medical or legal advice.

3. No Crisis or Emergency Services

Empowered Transitions Counseling does not provide crisis intervention services. If you are in distress or experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or contact a crisis hotline.

4. Appointment Scheduling and Payment

Sessions must be scheduled in advance. Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payments via Stripe and Square from any major debit and credit card. You have the option of using these HIPAA Non-compliant options: CashApp, Venmo, Paypal and Zelle at your own risk. Cancellations require 72-hour notice to avoid fees.

5. Confidentiality & Privacy

All therapy sessions are confidential and comply with HIPAA regulations. However, confidentiality may be waived in cases where:

  • You pose a risk to yourself or others.

  • There is suspected abuse or neglect.

  • Legal authorities require disclosure. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our Website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

  • Misrepresent yourself or provide false information.

  • Disrupt or interfere with our Website’s functionality.
